Busy April

We are getting ready for a couple of busy months. I am finally in my last class (YEAH!), so, every Tuesday night I am in school. Connor is now in soccer on every Saturday morning through May 9th (we should have started yesterday but it was called due to rain and cold). May 9th is also my graduation so we have a double booking. Connor is also enrolled in swim class which will start mid April on Thursday nights. Craig will be turning one on April 8th...(where has the last year gone?) w/a party being planned around that Easter Sunday. We have 2 Easter Egg hunts we have been invited to and of course dinner at Jim's Aunt Diane's house on Easter Day. We are also getting Connor enrolled in Kindergarten (another double booking). The paperwork involved is insane! Connor also continues his speech therapy every Tues and Thurs. Eveything slows down on 5/14 when Jim and I are going to see Billy Joel and Elton John (another double booking for that is Connor's last night of swim class). I think I officially feel like a soccer mom!

Connor is still crazy about Star Wars. Craig is just a handful but we love it! He has been cruising for months and started taking steps up to about 10 for weeks now. He will walk when there is something he wants but once he realizes he is walking, he will fall to his butt. We are all looking forward to warm weather so that we can be outside w/the neighbors again. It has been a long winter!

Aunt Becky, Cousin Alex and Grandma's visit

Night night time. Please...just give me one?

Begging for food again, this time chocolate concrete...Aunt Laurie also came over to visit.

Let me help you with that binky...

San Antonio Vacation

We really had a great time in San Antonio. Jim and I were concerned Craig would not tolerate being in a car seat for too long so we planned the ride down to take us 3 days. Both Connor and Craig did GREAT! The 1st 2 days we were in San Antonio were wonderful but the weather took a turn for the rest of the trip. Very cold and very rainy. We did not get to eat lunch w/Shamu and we stayed at Sea World for only a very short time before heading to Chunky Cheese. Thank goodness the resort we were staying at had one of the coolest pools I have ever seen (hands down the BEST resort I have been to..would drive down again in a heartbeat). We spent a lot of time there and Connor conquered his fear of the water! Well, he is still scared but he got in and was asking us each morning if he could go swimming. Of course, the best part was spending a week w/Todd, Shawn, Madeline and Levi.

We tried to make it home in one day but a bad rain storm in Dallas, Dallas rush hour and people in Texas not being able to drive in rain (and not to mention my diaper bag being missing in action so a trip to Walmart for bottles, formula, etc) caused us to make it home in 2 days instead. Thank goodness for Embassy Suites!!!

Craig eating and the kids dancing to "I like to move it, move it".

Todd, Shawn, Madi and Levi.............. Jim and Connor

The view from the fitness area of the rec room....the lazy river..FUN!

Games in the pool area and the indoor view of the pool.
The waterfalls had not yet been turned on for this pic and
way in the background is one of the 2 waterslides.

Levi and Craig

Connor and his loot from Chunky Cheese..

Our one hour at Sea World

Off to the bonefire (night 2)

The lazy river had a sandy beach...very cool....the roller coaster from Sea World could be seen from our balcony.

We stopped in Carthage, MO at the Precious Moments Chapel on the way home. Great place to get out and stretch our legs.

Just some random pics over the last week or so. Dad and Penny came to visit last weekend. I finally got my Wii Fit up and running.....I thought the family of deer was pretty cool. Been here 3 years now and had never seen deer like that.

Connor's Valentines Day Party

Connor's V-Day Party went without a hitch. Seth is good friends with Connor and it was kind of cool to watch Connor interact w/his school friends. Seth also has a baby brother the same age as Craig.
