Just hanging out on a Friday night

Connor had his "Holiday" party today at school.
He was quite excited about his gingerbread house (I think he did one heck of a job!)
The kids in this class also exchanged books.

Today was my first day working from home. Very weird. Hopefully I will get the hang of doing things a bit differently.

Starting to become a bit excited since Christmas is next week and this is the first year that Connor has actually been talking about Santa Claus. He was upset w/Jim the other day since Daddy did not hang lights outside and Connor wanted to know how Santa would know which house he was in.

Craig continues to eat me out of house and home :) Man, can this kid eat! I need to start getting him on table food, for it is obvious that is what he wants. I have decided to hold off until he is 9 months old for this is when I will also change his formula to the "next step".

The big news this week is that it appears to only be "days" away from me being able to work from home. I have all the equipment needed (laptop, dual monitors, phone, etc). Jim drove to Washington, MO today (quite a drive for those who do not know) to get my desk which I found on Craig's List. Then, we took off to Office Max and Best Buy to buy a new keyboard and printer. I have known about this for at least a month now that I would be going home but it still does not feel real. I just cannot get it through my head that I will no longer have to drive to work. I get 2.5-3 hours of my day back. Now, if I could just have enough concentration to finish the 25 page thesis that is due. After this is done, I will complete an internship for 9 weeks after the New Year and then I AM DONE!!! I am SO looking forward for life to calm down.

As for the kids, Connor was sick last Friday and then daycare called about Craig on the next Wed. Poor Jim had to take both days off for I was in meetings w/clients! Both are back to normal, thank goodness. Connor's speech therapy has been doing wonders for him. It is amazing how just a very small amount of time each week does for him.

It appears we are going to get hit with some significant ice Sunday night. Should make for a super fun day!!

Time has completley gotten away from me.....

Craig now has 2 teeth and is eating like a little pig.

Uncle Mike and Kelly are engaged....wedding to be in June 2009.

I get to start working from home any day now.
