Day at the Zoo

We had a great time w/Grandma and Grandpa this weekend! The zoo was awesome, as usual.

Craig's getting big

Yesterday, Craig figured out how to blow raspberries and today, his teacher was excited to tell me that Craig rolled over!! So tonight, we made him do it again and of course we had to tape it :)Yeah!!! Craig is also trying rice cereal and bananas; however, he is not too hip on the food thing yet.

Grandma and Grandpa Bailliez are coming to visit this weekend. We are excited to see them. I think we are going to try to make it to the St. Louis Zoo for the the Dinosaur exhibit will be closing after Labor Day and we would like to see it one last time.

A Wii Weekend

We finally broke down and did it...we got a Wii.
Connor loves his Mario Kart and he is really good! Now, we are on the hunt for the Wii Fit.

Still sick

Here is it Friday and Connor has now missed 3 1/2 days of school. This is the longest period of time that Connor has ever been sick. The most we have ever had to miss work for him has been one day. His fever is staying at 100 and he now has the vomitting for which we thought he would get out of having. I thought for sure it would have scared him but he thinks it is "cool". He looked at me this morning and said, "Hey, I just barfed on my jammies". Got to love boys!!

Craig, on the other hand, is back to his normal little self. We just pray he does not get what Connor has.

Sick x 2

Craig has been fighting a head cold for week and a half so when he did not sleep well for 3 nights in a row, we decided the doctor needed to be called. The same day as his appt, daycare called and told us Connor had a fever of 103. The drs office allowed us to bring in both at one time. Connor has a nasty little virus that is going around that lasts about 48 hours and is usually a high, fast onset fever and a headache. Craig has a ear infection (our first ear infection w/either kid). Because of Connor's high fever, he got to stay home with Daddy today. Craig did go back to daycare. Connor is quite happy to have Daddy all to himself.

Friday night out

We have a Edy's representative who lives in our subdivision and she won an ice cream party for the entire neighborhood! Yummers!! So, to make it more fun and to help w/the super hot days and nights of August, it was also a water gun fight (even though it only hit 80 that day).

First taste

Jim teased Craig today w/a spoon of ice cream and Craig went for it like he knew what right to do. So we decided we could give oatmeal a try. He did GREAT!

I continue to be amazed at how well Connor is doing with his little brother. I thought there would be significant jealousy issues but so far, he has proven me wrong. Craig lights up when Connor enters the room.

Trying something new

Going to see how blogging works and to allow far away friends and family keep up with all of the excitement in Edwardsville. Pic of Craig on 8/9/8 taking his first turn in his saucer. He seemed to be enjoying himself.
